Help run community cookery sessions, cookery schools and pop-up demonstrations across Greater Manchester and beyond. You’ll prep ingredients, support people as they cook healthy food from scratch, share messages about nutrition and sustainability, then gather feedback and tidy up.
Cracking Good Food is looking for volunteers to help with its community cookery sessions, cookery schools and pop-up cooking demonstrations across Greater Manchester and beyond. The role involves being a spare pair of hands in practical, people-focused sessions that teach others how to cook healthy food from scratch and share useful messages about nutrition, sustainability and food knowledge.
Volunteers may be asked to help set up the area, welcome participants, encourage involvement, prep ingredients, cook or supervise cooking, support communication during the session, gather feedback, and tidy up afterwards. The role is aimed at people who enjoy helping others, working as part of a team, and learning new cooking and organisational skills while contributing to a community project.
Ongoing
Expenses reimbursed, with travel up to £10. Training provided. Volunteers are covered by insurance.
