The Craft Guild of Chefs is accepting entries for the 2026 British Culinary Championships (BCC), taking place on 27-28 May 2026 at Central Bedfordshire College in Dunstable. The salon is organised by Central Bedfordshire College in association with the Craft Guild of Chefs and is aimed at competitors seeking competition experience across a range of culinary disciplines.
The event is split into sections made up of multiple competition classes, including Salon Display (items must be out for judging by 10:00), Live Hot, Live Cold and Restaurant Service (Wednesday only). Competitors should register at least one hour before their competition start time.
Awards (medal and certificate) are presented to competitors who reach the required standard; scoring bands are Gold (90%+), Silver (75%-89%), Bronze (65%-74%) and Certificate of Merit (55%-64%). Entries require a separate form per competitor submitted by post to reach the Craft Guild of Chefs.
