DIG Club Visit to King Edward Mine Museum is a free, in-person visit for anyone interested in geology and mining. The event brings together members of the public with industry so participants can learn more about the field, discover what opportunities are out there, and build connections with the wider community.
The visit begins with a meeting at 10:30am at King Edward Mine Museum in Camborne, followed by a tour of the museum. After the tour, attendees will enjoy a pasty lunch. The event is described as welcoming a broad audience, from Geology GCSE students through to retirees who want to find out more about all aspects of geology and mining.
Under-16s must attend with a parent or legal guardian.
