This virtual work experience programme introduces you to CrossCountry and the wider rail industry, showing how a major organisation connects people across the UK. You’ll explore what it is like to work in different areas of the business, from driving trains and supporting operations on the network to providing excellent customer service and keeping the organisation running behind the scenes.
The programme is built around interactive learning, with quizzes and activities that help you apply what you have learned rather than just reading information. Modules cover an introduction to CrossCountry, driver operations, customer experience, business support functions such as HR, IT, finance, marketing and timetable planning, and routes into rail careers such as apprenticeships and graduate schemes.
When you finish, you receive a certificate of completion that can be added to your CV or LinkedIn profile.
