Crossroads Beginners Spanish Workshops

The Crossroads Beginners and Intermediate Spanish Workshops are lively, hands-on language sessions for children and teens aged 8 to 16. They are designed for anyone who is totally new to Spanish or simply curious to try something new, with the Beginners group requiring no prior knowledge at all.

Sessions focus on building confidence through active, friendly learning rather than formal drills. Learners practise everyday phrases and conversation in a small-group setting, using games, stories, songs, and role-play to make Spanish come alive.

The workshops also introduce Spanish-speaking culture, including traditions, food, festivals, and fun facts, so students can connect language with real-world context. Lessons are held in person on Thursday afternoons at the Crossroads Exam Centre in Caerphilly.

Beginners run from 12:00pm to 1:00pm, and Intermediate runs from 1:00pm to 2:30pm. The current block is five sessions beginning Thursday 15 January and ending Thursday 12 February, with extra practice shared through Google Classroom.
