An intensive, on-campus summer program at Dartmouth College focused on persuasive spoken Spanish using the Rassias MethodAE. The course combines dramatic techniques, rhythmic drills, role plays and rapid-response practice to build oral fluency and confidence for contexts such as debates, business negotiations and political or legal discussions.
Sessions include morning drills and afternoon discussions, storytelling and cultural workshops. Students participate in small interactive classes, peer feedback sessions, media analysis and cultural explorations designed to develop persuasive strategies in Spanish-speaking contexts.
The program is delivered in a structured campus environment with options for residential (boarding) or day attendance. Typical residential days include supervised activities, meals and evening programming as described on the course page.
On completion students receive detailed performance reports, instructor feedback, a Rassias Center Certificate of Completion and a branded Course Completion Certificate from Dartmouth Summer Scholars. International students receive visa support documentation and an international registration package that can include transportation assistance and medical insurance as described by the program.
