This is a structured apprenticeship at Lloyds Banking Group combining on-the-job experience with formal training. You will spend most of your time working at the employer (125 Colmore Row, Birmingham) and learning practical data skills while completing a Level 4 Applied Data and AI Specialist apprenticeship, with progression to a degree apprenticeship later in the programme.

Day-to-day responsibilities include SQL and advanced data joins, predictive modelling and forecasting, data visualisation and storytelling, statistical programming (eg. Python), and building data products used by colleagues and customers.

Training is delivered by BPP Professional Education Limited and includes specialist study time away from the workplace. The training schedule has not been finalised; check with the employer for travel or college attendance requirements.

Essential entry requirements listed are GCSE English and Maths (grade 4-9) and A Level qualifications (specified grades). The role is full-time (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday) and starts on 1 September 2026.
