The course covers core SQL syntax and foundational concepts used in modern data architecture and business intelligence. You will progress to advanced querying and analysis techniques, learning to construct complex queries using WHERE, logical operators, sorting, grouping, aggregates and built-in relational functions.
A key focus is mastering JOINs to combine data across multiple tables for comprehensive reporting. Final modules introduce performance tuning and optimisation, including indexes and query optimisation techniques to improve retrieval speed and system efficiency.
