Debate Hub Summer Camp

Debate Hub Summer Camp runs two age-specific debate academies at South Hampstead High School. The senior camp (ages 12-16) is a five-day programme focused on games, practice, instruction and finishes with an internal competition; sessions run 9:30am to 4:30pm.

The junior camp (ages 9-11) is a three-day programme with sessions 9:00am to 3:30pm. Both camps are led by coaches who are national and internationally competitive debaters. Participants will learn how to craft persuasive arguments, sharpen critical and analytical thinking, and practise responding to challenging questions.

The programme explores social, political and ethical issues and teaches different competitive debate formats to prepare students for competitions and public speaking. Booking is via Eventbrite; the listed fee is £80 per day with an early-bird discount.
