Join Siemens Mobility as a Degree Apprentice in the CS Digital Solutions Engineer role and work on real transport and infrastructure projects while studying for a Level 6 Digital and Technology Solutions Professional qualification with The Open University. Most of the apprenticeship is on-the-job: you will design, code, test and implement software components, analyse data to extract insights, and develop practical digital solutions while following secure-by-design principles.

You will be based at Unit E4, 17 Langley Park Way, Chippenham, Wiltshire (SN15 1GG). The role is full-time (Monday to Friday, 9:00-17:00, 40 hours/week) and includes virtual delivery of the formal training alongside workplace project experience.

The programme covers software engineering, data analysis, networking, cyber security, project management and applying standards such as Agile and ISO where relevant.

Essential entry requirements are 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 4) and an A level (grade C). The apprenticeship starts on 14 August 2026, runs for four years, and offers progression opportunities in digital solutions and related fields.
