Stantec is recruiting a Level 6 Degree Apprentice Utilities Consultant in Bristol, starting September 2026. This five-year degree apprenticeship combines on-the-job work at Stantec's Bristol office with day-release study at the University of the West of England, leading to a Level 6 Building Services Engineering degree.

You will join multi-disciplinary project teams working on how utility services are incorporated into developments, with exposure to net-zero strategies, electric vehicle charging, and renewable consultancy work.

Most of the apprenticeship is workplace-based (approximately 37 hours 30 minutes per week), with scheduled specialist training and day-release study at UWE. The programme covers technical engineering principles, design and commissioning of building services systems, data analysis, project management, health & safety, sustainability and professional development activities to prepare you for a career in engineering and related specialisms.

There is one position available in Bristol (10 Queen Square, BS1 4NT). Essential entry requirements include GCSEs in Maths and English at grade 5/6 (B) or above; A-levels or BTECs in related subjects are desirable.
