Dental Nurse Apprenticeship

This is an 18-month Level 3 Dental Nurse apprenticeship combining on-the-job training at a dental practice with accredited study. As an apprentice you will assist dentists, provide chair-side support, sterilise and prepare equipment, handle reception duties, manage patient records, support patient wellbeing and take part in other duties to support the dental team.

Training is delivered by TEMP DENT DENTAL AGENCY LIMITED and leads to a Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3 awarded by City & Guilds. The programme includes off-the-job training (paid for by the employer), blended e-learning, weekly online teaching sessions, and webinars.

Functional Skills in English and/or maths at level 2 will be required unless exempt; assessment includes an End Point Assessment (EPA) on completion.

The role is based at 19 Green Lane, Stoneycroft, Liverpool (L13 7DT). Working hours are typically 40 hours per week (detailed weekly schedule provided in the vacancy). You must be immunised against Hepatitis B and be able to pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Wage for the first year is listed as £15,704 (apprentice rate), with possible increases depending on age.
