Dental Nurse Apprenticeship

As an Apprentice Dental Nurse with MyDentist you will support clinicians to deliver a range of high-quality dental treatments and help the smooth running of the practice. Most of the apprenticeship is on-the-job learning where you will perform duties such as reception tasks, dealing with patient queries, taking payments, booking appointments, sterilising and preparing equipment, recording patient records, providing chairside support and supporting patient wellbeing.

You will study to achieve a Level 3 Dental Nurse qualification (GDC 2023). Training is delivered through the employer’s training partner (Tempdent) via blended online learning and workplace-based training, with off-the-job training provided and paid for by the employer.

Assessment is by End Point Assessment after completion of your portfolio and, on achievement, you will be awarded a Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3.

This role is based at 36 Victoria Place, Carlisle (CA1 1EX). Working hours are approximately 30 hours 30 minutes per week with specified daily hours (including some Saturdays). The role includes employer-funded professional registration, training support, holiday entitlement, and other employee benefits.
