Dental Nurse Apprenticeship

Join MyDentist as an Apprentice Dental Nurse and learn on the job supporting clinicians to deliver high-quality dental care. Most of the role is hands-on in a dental practice where you'll assist with reception duties, patient queries, appointments and payments, prepare and sterilise equipment, support chairside during treatment, manage records, and contribute to patient wellbeing and safety.

This apprenticeship leads to a Level 3 qualification (Diploma in Dental Nursing) delivered with training provider TEMP DENT DENTAL AGENCY LIMITED via blended online learning and practice-based training. Off-the-job training is provided and paid for by the employer; assessment is via an End Point Assessment (EPA) after portfolio completion.

The role includes online webinars alongside workplace training and awards City & Guilds/GDC-recognised certification on completion.

Details: start date 30 November 2025; duration 1 year 6 months; 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri within 07:45-18:15, occasional Saturdays); location 11 The Broadway, St. Ives, PE27 5BX. Salary band £15,704 to £25,396.

80 depending on age, plus benefits (health & wellbeing, retail discounts, indemnity insurance and funded GDC membership). Essential entry requirements include GCSEs in Maths and English (grade 4).
