This apprenticeship is a paid, workplace-based Dental Nurse Apprenticeship at The Dental practice in Hoddesdon. Over a 12-month, government-funded programme you will work as a trainee dental nurse providing chair-side support, preparing and sterilising equipment, handling patient records, reception duties (including booking and payments) and supporting patient care and wellbeing.

You will study for a Level 3 Dental Nurse qualification (Dental nurse (GDC 2023) Level 3) with training delivered by HARRIET ELLIS TRAINING SOLUTIONS LIMITED. Off-the-job training is typically around 7 hours per week.

The apprenticeship starts on 22 December 2025. The role is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday with some evenings or weekends required depending on the rota. The advertised wage is £11,778 for the first year (apprentice rate), subject to national minimum wage rules and potential increases depending on age.
