Join celebrated collaborators Erica Dorn and Annie Atkins for a focused conversation on the graphic language of Wes Anderson’s films, moderated by Johanna Agerman Ross. The discussion will explore how typography, illustration, props and ephemera contribute to narrative, character development and world-building in Anderson’s work, illustrated by examples from multiple productions.
This event is presented as part of the Wes Anderson: The Archives programme. Attendees will gain insight into the practical and creative processes behind film graphics and prop design, including the role of handcrafted details and fictional documents in shaping cinematic worlds.
Please note that an event ticket does not include admission to the exhibition itself. The talk is intended for film enthusiasts, graphic designers, students, professionals and fans of Wes Anderson. Tickets are available with concession pricing for students and a discounted member rate; accessibility provisions such as BSL interpretation must be requested at least one month in advance.
