Digital Skills: Artificial Intelligence (Accenture / FutureLearn)

This three-week online course, developed by Accenture and delivered on FutureLearn, introduces learners to the fundamentals of artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI, and explores their applications across industry. Across weekly modules you will learn the origins and development of AI, examine real-world industry use cases, and consider ethical and responsible AI practices.

The course focuses on practical understanding and career relevance: learners will reflect on how AI may affect their own roles, identify skills needed to work with AI, and produce an action plan to upskill for evolving job opportunities. Study is designed to be accessible (around 2 hours per week) and includes videos, articles, quizzes, peer discussion, and assessments.
