Join Capgemini as a Degree Apprentice to study for a BSc (Hons) in Digital & Technology Solutions at Sheffield Hallam University while working on real projects. This 3-year degree apprenticeship combines workplace training, day-to-day work and structured study.
The programme starts Monday 14 September 2026, offers 15 positions, and carries a wage of £20,000 a year for a standard 37 hours 30 minutes per week.
You will be placed into one of several technical areas such as Insights & Data (building data pipelines, dashboards, cloud migration and analytics), Custom Software Development (developing software, cloud, databases, DevOps and secure coding) or Systems Applications & Products (configuring and integrating SAP systems, testing and user support). Apprentices spend most of their time working on the job, supported by training and workplace projects.
Training is delivered by Sheffield Hallam University as a Level 6 Digital and technology solutions professional apprenticeship, including a 10-week on-campus bootcamp during fresher's week, study leave for coursework and exams, and the opportunity to graduate with a degree and attend a graduation ceremony. Essential requirements include an A Level (grade CCC / Merit Merit Merit) and eligibility for Security Check (SC) clearance (including 5 years continuous UK residence).
This specific role must be based in the Worthing office and may include nationality restrictions for security reasons.

- This role is only available to be based in the Worthing office; you should expect to typically be in the Worthing office 3 days a week and be based within a commutable distance
- Successful appointment requires obtaining Security Check (SC) clearance
- To obtain SC clearance, the applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years (along with other criteria)
- Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; you may be asked about your citizenship during the application process
