Want a paid degree that launches your tech career? Join Exeter’s BSc Degree Apprenticeship to work full-time, study one day a week, and earn an industry-recognised qualification while building real-world digital skills, university credit and strong career networks.

The Digital and Technology Solutions Professional (Level 6) Degree Apprenticeship at the University of Exeter combines a full BSc degree with the apprenticeship standard. Apprentices work in a paid, full-time job with one day a week (minimum 6 hours) devoted to study and off-the-job learning.

The programme is delivered in a blended format with on-campus teaching blocks at the Streatham Campus and online study, and leads to both an industry-recognised apprenticeship certificate and a BSc in Digital and Technology Solutions.

Apprentices choose one of five specialist pathways (Software Engineering, Data Analysis, IT Business Analysis, IT Consultancy or Cyber Security) after the initial common modules. Learning includes on-campus residential teaching blocks (termly), a day-a-week distance learning model, online workshops, guided self-study and assessed work-based projects embedded with employer activity.

Apprentices are employees of their sponsoring organisation; employers cover training costs and apprentices earn a salary while studying. Entry is via employer vacancies (e. g.

, GOV. UK) or by already holding a position with an employer willing to sponsor the apprenticeship.
