CLOSED THIS CYCLE

The Discover Business Academy is a two-week residential summer course on an Oxford University campus for 12-14 year olds. Students explore entrepreneurship, branding, management and basic economics through classroom tuition and practical projects, guided by tutors from leading universities.

The programme combines daily classes (small groups, maximum 15 students) with masterclasses, guest sessions with entrepreneurs and the Planet Innovation Challenge - a four-hour intensive academic challenge where students research, design and pitch a viable start-up idea addressing environmental issues. Students graduate with a Certificate of Achievement and, where criteria are met, a personalised Letter of Recommendation.

The course also offers cultural excursions, social activities and an Ambassador Programme option to continue learning after the summer school.

Qualification Outcome

Oxford Scholastica Academy Certificate of Achievement; Letter of Recommendation (for students who meet criteria)
