Dog Day Care Assistant Apprentice (The Dog Club Essex)

This apprenticeship places you at The Dog Club Essex day care, working hands-on with domestic dogs in a countryside setting. You will contribute to providing a safe, stimulating environment and be responsible for day-to-day care tasks including feeding, supervision, cleaning, monitoring behaviour and welfare, and supporting dogs with particular needs.

You will be employed 30 hours per week across shifts within the business opening hours (8:00-18:00). The apprenticeship includes employer-led on-the-job training and off-the-job specialist training delivered by KEITS Training Services Ltd.

You will work towards the Level 2 Animal Care & Welfare Apprenticeship Standard and an End Point Assessment. Wage is listed as £11,778 for the first year (apprentice rate), start date is Monday 15 December 2025 and the programme duration is 1 year 4 months.
