Join us for a film screening and discussion of The Dora Love Prize. The event features the 20-minute film The Fragility of Freedom: The Dora Love Prize 2024 followed by a presentation, a Q&A session, and networking/socialising.
Professor Rainer Schulze (Emeritus Professor of Modern European History, University of Essex), founder of the Dora Love Prize, will present and lead discussion. The Dora Love Prize is an educational initiative founded in 2012 for Years 8 6 students that builds confidence to challenge identity-based prejudice, discrimination and violence, promoting inclusive human rights and LGBTQ+ rights.
This Westminster Creative Social is funded by Ward Budget grants to keep it free and accessible; refreshments and a small buffet will be provided, and forum members may take home a foodie bag at the end of the evening. The event is in-person at the City of Westminster Archives Centre (10 Saint Ann's Street, London SW1P 2DE).
