Dukes Plus Dentistry Summer School

Dukes Plus' Dentistry Summer School is an on-campus programme at University College London for students aged 15 6 who are exploring a career in dentistry. Over 1 2 weeks (or 2 weeks depending on the option chosen), participants receive focused teaching from qualified dental professionals, take part in immersive dental surgery simulations using phantom heads and VR, and visit a London dental practice to practise patient consultations and diagnostics.

The course combines practical sessions (including basic dental examinations and X-ray interpretation) with career coaching and guidance on dental school applications, UCAS personal statements, and interview preparation. Students receive personalised feedback through an assessment centre run by dental professionals and benefit from 25+ hours of teaching per week while studying on the UCL campus.

This programme is delivered in partnership with InvestIN and includes hands-on training, mentorship from dentists and orthodontists, and networking with peers. Start dates are offered across summer; prices start from A32225 and the option to gain a UCAS-accredited qualification is available to support university or dental school applications.
