Dukes Plus Engineering Summer School

Dukes Plus Engineering Summer School gives 15-18 year olds hands-on exposure to multiple engineering disciplines including aeronautical, civil, electrical, biomedical and materials engineering. Participants take part in workshops, data testing, model-building and failure analysis, with a minimum of 25 hours' contact time with professionals per week.

The programme includes site visits such as a working airfield and Europes largest supercar facility, career simulations and networking with industry professionals. Residential options provide private accommodation, meals, weekend social activities and a Gala dinner.

The Premium option adds personalised coaching, psychometric testing and a Level 3 Award in Work Experience.

Courses take place on campus at University College London (UCL) with additional off-site visits. The summer school is UCAS-accredited to support university applications and is available in 1-week and 2-week formats (including a 2-week Premium offering).
