Join the Dukes Plus English Language Easter Course at Earlscliffe for students aged 8-17. The programme delivers 20 lessons (16 hours) per week in small classes (maximum 12) with qualified teachers. Morning sessions focus on grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and interactive language tasks while afternoons use project-based learning (drama, music, film, arts and crafts and debates for advanced learners).
Day trips and cultural excursions are closely linked to classroom learning: students prepare for visits and complete follow-up writing tasks such as reviews and reflections. The programme includes a weekly excursion to London (around 54 minutes by train from Folkestone Central) and other visits such as Leeds Castle, Bluewater or Canterbury.
Activities are supervised and juniors have full staff supervision on excursions. Earlscliffe is a residential campus in Folkestone with renovated accommodation and on-site sports and activities (e. g.
, table tennis, badminton, basketball, swimming, karaoke, themed nights). Extra Intensive English options are available for an additional weekly fee to extend learning via small-group or one-to-one tuition.
The course aims to improve language proficiency, confidence and cultural awareness.
