Spend a two-week summer school in Cambridge debating global challenges, simulating government decisions and presenting your ideas. Seminars, group projects and negotiations build your confidence in speaking and reasoning, while supervised excursions and activities bring you together with students from around the world.
The Faculty of Global Leadership is a two-week summer school in Cambridge for students aged 14 to 17 who want to explore politics, economics, and international relations while improving their English. The programme is designed to help ambitious young people think critically about global events, examine how governments make decisions, and understand the forces shaping the world economy.
Students take part in seminars, debates, simulations, and group projects that build confidence in speaking, reasoning, and persuasive communication. They investigate major global challenges, negotiate competing viewpoints, and present their ideas to others.
The course also encourages participants to strengthen their English vocabulary and ability to discuss complex issues clearly.
Alongside the academic content, students experience life in Cambridge with supervised excursions, activities, and opportunities to meet other students from around the world. Day and residential options are available, and the programme includes support, meals, and a full schedule of learning and enrichment activities.
