Dukes Plus - Future Global Leaders (Canford)

Future Global Leaders at Canford is a two-week on-campus summer school for students aged 11-16 who want to explore politics, international relations and leadership. The programme combines 15 hours of academic content per week with hands-on activities, debates, negotiations and group projects designed to build confidence, communication and decision-making skills.

Students take part in module-based learning (Politics and Governance, International Relations, and Leadership in Practice), simulations such as a mock global summit, and collaborative 'Time to Shine' projects. The course includes a lively social programme, sports, creative workshops and excursions (including Thorpe Park and visits to London) to complement classroom learning.

Classes are small (maximum 15 students) and suitable for beginners; a minimum English level of A1 is required. At the end of the course participants receive a personalised academic report and a certificate recognising their progress and achievements.
