Take part in diplomatic negotiations, debate global issues and practise leadership through team tasks and presentations. Build confidence in English while meeting students from around the world; participants leave with a certificate and an end-of-course report.
Global Leadership - Earlscliffe is a two-week summer school for ambitious students who want to build confidence in leadership, diplomacy and persuasive communication while developing their English. The programme is designed for young people aged 14 to 17 and brings together students from around the world in a residential, international environment on the Kent coast.
Students take part in diplomatic negotiations, debate pressing global issues, and explore how governments and international organisations respond to shared challenges. They also practise leadership through team tasks, strategic decision-making and presentations, with activities designed to strengthen critical thinking, collaboration and the ability to defend ideas clearly.
Beyond the classroom, the summer school includes excursions, social activities and a broad programme of sports, creative workshops and evening events. Students can choose day or residential places, with residential students receiving full board, accommodation and 24/7 pastoral support.
Participants leave with a certificate, an end-of-course report and greater confidence using English in academic and international contexts.
