Early Years Apprentice - Barnet

This is a paid Early Years Apprenticeship with Bright Little Stars in Barnet offering you the chance to earn while you learn and gain a nationally recognised Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification. Most of the apprenticeship is on-the-job: you will work in the nursery, carry out day-to-day childcare routines, plan and deliver play activities that support children’s numeracy, literacy and language development, and act as a key person to support individual children's needs.

You will complete a 5-week paid trial that determines the best apprenticeship programme for you and receive a mix of workplace training and 20% off-the-job learning delivered by the training provider Realise Learning and Employment Limited. The role includes responsibilities such as observations, planning, supporting transitions, safeguarding, infection control, and working with parents and other professionals.

Details: start date 8 January 2026, 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday, shifts to be confirmed), location 177 Leicester Road (EN5 5EB), Barnet. Two positions available. Training may include functional skills in maths and English if required, and progression to Level 3 is possible.
