Join a small, home-based childminding setting in Stevenage as an Early Years Apprentice, supporting the care and learning of children aged 6 months to 5 years. You'll work alongside the owner and team to support daily nursery routines, help plan and deliver play-based learning experiences, assist with meals and outdoor play, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
This apprenticeship includes fully supported on-the-job training while you study towards an NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education. The employer offers personalised mentoring, flexible hours to balance study and work, and progression opportunities into a qualified Early Years Practitioner role on completion.
Applicants should be enthusiastic about childcare, willing to complete DBS and basic safeguarding/first-aid checks (the employer can assist), and able to work on-site in Stevenage.
