Kiddi Caru (part of Grandir UK) in Burgess Hill is recruiting an Early Years Apprentice Practitioner to provide high-quality childcare while working towards a recognised Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification. You will be based at the nursery on York Road (RH15 9TT) and spend most of your time working on the job supporting babies and young children through daily routines, play, mealtimes, personal care and learning activities.
The role includes safeguarding responsibilities and working cooperatively with colleagues, parents and other professionals.
This apprenticeship includes employer-led on-the-job training plus 20% off-the-job learning delivered by the training provider Realise Learning and Employment Limited. The programme covers knowledge, skills and behaviours for early years practice, a Level 2 qualification and functional skills in maths and English if required.
The position is full-time (40 hours per week), starts on 4 December 2025 and pays £15,704 in the first year (apprentice wage; may increase depending on age). An enhanced DBS check will be required before appointment.

£15,704 per year
£15,704 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age. National Minimum Wage rate for apprentices.
