Early Years Apprenticeship at Cathedral View Childcare Ltd

This is a paid Early Years apprenticeship with Cathedral View Childcare in Ely, offering hands-on work in a nursery setting combined with formal training. You will be employed while you ‘earn as you learn’ and study with Cambridge Regional College to gain a nationally recognised Early Years Educator Level 3 qualification.

Day-to-day duties include caring for children aged 0-5, organising activities, supporting personal and emotional needs (feeding, changing nappies), maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety, and contributing to a warm, stimulating environment. You will work as part of a team, attend team meetings, and develop communication and interpersonal skills while using progress tracking systems and safeguarding practice.

The role is full-time (40 hours per week) with shifts between 7:30am and 6:00pm and one day assigned to college or online learning (one day every two weeks). The employer requires a full DBS check and two suitable references.
