Early Years Educator Apprenticeship

Join Crescent Corner Day Nursery as an Early Years Educator Apprentice and gain hands-on experience working with children from birth to 5 years. Most of the role is workplace-based: you will work alongside qualified nursery practitioners contributing to the delivery of quality childcare, maintaining effective relationships with parents and staff, and supporting inclusive learning environments.

Duties include assessing children’s needs, supporting communication and social development, and taking on key person responsibilities.

You will study with JUNIPER TRAINING LIMITED to achieve the Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Standard and paediatric first aid certification. The apprenticeship includes specialist training, online masterclasses, one-to-one support, and workplace delivery.

It starts on Monday 5 January 2026, runs for 1 year 6 months, and is 30 hours per week across various shifts Monday-Friday (between 7:30am and 6:00pm).

The role is based at 104A Halifax Road, Sheffield (S6 1LH). A full-time position may be available on completion. The employer notes desirable GCSEs and that the setting is physically active; Crescent Corner provides on-site car parking and is accessible by public transport.
