Early Years Educator Apprentice - JIGSAWS CHILDCARE LTD

This is an 18-month Early Years Educator apprenticeship with Jigsaws Childcare Limited based at Kirk Fenton Primary School, Church Fenton / Tadcaster (LS24 9RF). Most of the apprenticeship is workplace-based: you will work alongside room supervisors caring for children aged from 3 months to 4 years, supporting high-quality education and care, implementing policies (safeguarding, health & safety, equality and diversity), and contributing to planning and resources.

You will receive blended on- and off-the-job training from the training provider (City of York Council). Training includes assessed visits in the setting, a mentor, six paid hours per week allocated for written work and maths/English Functional Skills, and completion of a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification plus a Paediatric First Aid qualification.

The role is Monday-Friday (7:30am-5:30pm, 38 hours/week - to be confirmed on appointment).
