Early Years Educator Apprentice - Level 3 (Little Adventures Stirchley)

This is a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship based at Little Adventures Nursery, Stirchley. As an apprentice you will be employed and trained on the job to carry out the responsibilities of an Early Years Practitioner, working with children from birth to around five years.

Duties include planning, monitoring and evaluating activities, providing care and education within a key person structure, maintaining a safe and stimulating environment, contributing to observations and records, and working to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework.

Your apprenticeship includes day-to-day on-the-job learning plus off-the-job training delivered by the training provider, Realise Learning and Employment Limited. You will work towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator standard and associated qualifications (Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator, paediatric first aid award), with 20% off-the-job training incorporated into your working day.

The role is full-time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with shifts agreed at offer stage).

The employer requires a commitment to safer recruitment: the role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check and at least two satisfactory references. Applicants should have (or be willing to achieve) a Grade 4/C in GCSE maths or English, or be prepared to complete functional skills.

On completion (12-15 months) there may be opportunities to progress to a full-time Early Years Practitioner role and further development within the nursery.
