Early Years Specialist Apprenticeship (E)

This is a Level 3 Early Years Specialist Apprenticeship based at Puddle Jumpers' St. Peters Centre in Wapping, London. You will work in a childcare setting supporting children aged 0-5, creating safe, engaging environments and delivering activities within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Day-to-day duties include supporting self-care, communicating with parents and colleagues, and planning both indoor and outdoor learning experiences.

The apprenticeship lasts 14 months and combines on-the-job learning with one day per week of online classroom-based training for the first 8 weeks. Training is provided by SWIFT ACI and includes completion of an Advanced Level 3 Diploma in Early Years and a paediatric first aid qualification.

You will be supported by an assessor and mentor throughout the apprenticeship.

This role is paid (£11,778 for the first year, with the possibility of increases depending on age) and requires flexibility to work shifts across Monday-Friday (30 hours per week). Successful completion can lead to Level 3 educator roles, room leader positions, management training or routes into primary education and related careers.
