Unlock the fundamentals of global economics with a focused, immersive two-week summer program at Georgetown University in Washington, D. C. Through interactive lectures and hands-on activities, students explore core topics such as recession, inflation, market fluctuations, international trade and economic policy, and analyse how major global events reshape economic strategies.
Instruction is delivered by experienced instructors from Georgetown's academic community (Instructor listed: Harry Baturin). The program offers both residential (boarding) and day options across June and July sessions.
Tuition for the program covers academic instruction, on-campus housing for residential participants, meals, supervised activities and scheduled excursions; additional mandatory fees apply for international registrants. Students receive detailed performance reports, instructor feedback, and, for credit-bearing classes, grade reports and guidance for requesting a university transcript.
Designed for motivated high school and middle school students (ages 14-18), the course aims to build critical thinking and financial awareness, provide portfolio-building documentation, and give participants official recognition from Georgetown that can support future academic and career pathways. International students receive visa support documentation and optional airport shuttle services (additional fees may apply).
