Immerse Education Economics Summer School Oxford

Immerse Education’s Oxford Economics Summer School gives students a university-style introduction to economics in one of the world’s most famous academic cities. The course is designed for two age groups, with material adapted for learners aged 13 to 15 and a more advanced track for students aged 16 to 18.

Participants explore core economic ideas such as supply and demand, market structures, macroeconomics, microeconomics, global trade and economic policy, building confidence in how economists think and reason.

The programme combines in-depth academic sessions with a personal research project and one-to-one tutoring from experienced academic mentors. Students also benefit from small class sizes, group discussion, and practical activities that strengthen critical thinking and decision-making skills.

Alongside the academic content, the experience includes formal dining, guest speakers, guided activities and a graduation celebration. Students receive a certificate of achievement, and there is an optional UCAS points add-on for older participants.
