Fancy turning classroom theory into real-world impact? Join Debate Chamber's five-day Economics Summer School in Bloomsbury to explore case studies, run simulations, debate policy and build analytical skills that strengthen your uni and career applications.

Debate Chamber's Economics Summer School is a five-day, in-person course in Bloomsbury, Central London, that deepens understanding of economic theory through real-world case studies, interactive simulations and policy-focused discussions. The programme is aimed at students who have already studied economics at GCSE or are in the first year of A Level study and will emphasise active participation, debate and applied analysis of contemporary economic challenges.

Teaching takes place at Woburn House (Tavistock Square) from Monday 3 August to Friday 7 August 2026. Daily sessions run 10:30-16:30 (with a lunch break) and class sizes are kept small to allow individual attention and lively classroom discussion.

The course is useful preparation for students considering university study in economics, or careers in finance, policy or related social sciences.

This is a non-residential course; accommodation must be arranged independently. Debate Chamber offers a limited number of full and partial bursaries (up to 90% of fees) for eligible students. To book, secure a place with a 25% non-refundable deposit and pay the remaining balance eight weeks before the course start.

Contact details and bursary application information are available on the Debate Chamber website.
