Education in Action
Apply NowBiology in Action is a subject-focused study day for KS5 biology learners run by Education in Action. It is aimed at A-level, IB, BTEC Level 3 and T Level biology students and brings together leading scientists and communicators to showcase current research, developments and real-world applications across biology.
The day includes talks that explore ancient pathogen genomics, de-extinction genetics, cancer protection in animals, medtech innovations and rainforest research. The programme features a special session on exam success with practical tips, interactive polls and opportunities for students to ask questions directly to speakers.
The event is hosted by Greg Foot and includes speakers such as Dr Pooja Swali (UCL Genetics Institute), Helen Pilcher, Dr Charlotte Mykura and James Piercy.
