Education in Action's GCSE Maths in Action is a one-day, in-person enrichment event for KS4 students that brings maths to life through high-energy, interactive sessions and talks. Students will take part in five interactive sessions including talks on real-world applications of mathematics, exam-success strategies, and engaging topics such as the maths behind video games and fractals.
Sessions feature live polls, quizzes and audience participation to deepen understanding of key GCSE topics and inspire interest in mathematics. Hosted by Dr Matt Pritchard with an Exam Success session by Dr Jamie Frost and speakers including Vanessa Madu and Dr Tom Crawford, the day is designed for school groups and teachers looking to motivate and support Year 10 and Year 11 students.
