Join Cavendish Nuclear as an Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineering Degree Apprentice based at Fleswick Court, Cumbria, supporting projects at Sellafield. Over four years you will combine on-the-job engineering experience with blended academic study delivered by the University of Lancashire, gaining hands-on exposure to design, modelling, calculations and engineering tools such as Autodesk REVIT or AutoCAD Electrical.
The programme delivers a mix of face-to-face and online teaching (semester blocks include three days of in-person delivery followed by weekly online sessions) and leads to a BEng (Hons) in Professional Engineering (Product Design) and a Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship. Apprentices will be involved in product development disciplines including materials science, CAD, systems integration and prototyping and will be supported by mentors and the Apprentice Development Programme.
