A virtual work experience programme takes you through renewable and nuclear energy, finance, supply chain, and digital careers. Test your knowledge with quizzes and self-evaluation, join live webinars or watch recordings later, and earn a certificate of completion.
This virtual work experience programme from EDF is designed to help young people explore careers in energy while building practical employability skills. It begins with an introduction to EDF, its sustainability ambitions and its role as Britain’s biggest generator of zero-carbon electricity, then shows the different paths you could take within the company.
You do not need any prior knowledge to get started.
The programme covers renewable energy, nuclear energy, commercial, finance and supply chain roles, and IT, digital, data and tech. It also includes early careers and pathways content, such as the difference between apprenticeships, graduate programmes and industrial placements, plus guidance on applications.
Alongside activities, quizzes and self-evaluation tasks, learners can join live webinars or watch recordings later, and receive a certificate of completion when they finish.
