This Level 3 IT Engineer apprenticeship places you as the first point of contact for IT support at Everything Tech. You will provide 1st line support across email, telephone and internal systems, log and troubleshoot incidents in the ticketing system, prepare and configure hardware (PCs, servers, printers), install software, and escalate complex issues to 2nd line technicians.
Day-to-day duties include proactive customer contact, routine maintenance tasks and ad-hoc project work as directed by the IT Helpdesk Manager.
The apprenticeship includes off-the-job training delivered by QA Limited, studying the Information Communications Technician (Level 3) standard. You will gain practical skills in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows, Linux and PowerShell, and work towards industry-recognised qualifications such as Azure Fundamentals and Microsoft 365 Fundamentals.
Training covers fault finding, network monitoring, deployment of applications, and secure handling of data.
The role is full-time (40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, typical hours between 8:00-17:00 or 9:00-18:00), based at 3rd Floor Hanover House, 32 Charlotte Street, Manchester, M1 4FD. The apprenticeship starts on 9 December 2025.
On successful completion the employer aims to offer a full-time Helpdesk Technician role with a salary increase and a training progression plan.
