This two-week, on-campus summer academy at the University of California, Berkeley introduces high-school students (ages 14-18) to robotics and engineering through hands-on projects, lectures, and lab work. Participants design, build and program robotic systems, learn about sensors, circuitry and mechanical design, and explore AI-driven automation and current robotics trends.
The programme includes a group capstone project, site visits and networking opportunities with industry leaders and research labs in the Bay Area, and an exclusive tour of Berkeley's engineering facilities. Residential (boarding) and day options are available; tuition typically covers academic tuition, housing (for boarding), meals, supervised activities and some on-campus transportation.
International students receive visa support documentation where required, optional airport shuttle services (additional fee) and international medical insurance while abroad. All students receive detailed performance summaries and instructor feedback after completion; credit-bearing classes provide grade reports and transcript instructions depending on accepting institutions.

Day program: £3,288 for 2 weeks. Residential/boarding option: £5,605 for 2 weeks. An international registration fee applies to students whose primary residence is outside the United States (mandatory and non-refundable). Airfare and some optional transport services are not included.
