Build the skills to support cricket coaches and players through one face-to-face module, two short e-learning modules and a multiple-choice assessment. Explore batting, bowling, fielding, safety and adapting coaching, with a qualified coach supervising you at all times.

ECB Support Coach is the assistant coach provision for cricket coaching in England and Wales. It is designed to build the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to support qualified coaches, inspire players and make a difference to the game.

The course is aimed at people who want to help deliver cricket coaching, but it is not a standalone qualification for leading sessions independently, so a qualified cricket coach must supervise the Support Coach at all times.

The programme includes one face-to-face module, two short e-learning modules and a multiple-choice assessment. Key themes include supporting coaches and players, communicating effectively, supporting fielding, bowling and batting, safety and differentiation, alongside use of icoachcricket.

To achieve certification, learners must be 16 or over and hold valid safeguarding training plus a valid ECB Disclosure and Barring Service check.
