English Adventures - Canford (Dukes Plus)

English Adventures - Canford is a residential English language summer school for students aged 11 to 16, delivered on the Canford School campus in Dorset. The programme provides 15 hours of structured English lessons per week, covering vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading and writing, and uses interactive, hands-on methods to build confidence across listening, speaking and written skills.

Students take part in 'Time to Shine' group projects, practical fieldwork and excursions (for example to London and Thorpe Park), plus a varied social programme including sports, performing arts, creative workshops and evening events. Teaching is tailored for learners from beginner (A1) to advanced levels, and lessons emphasise real-world communication and collaborative presentation skills.

At the end of the course participants receive a personalised end-of-course report and a certificate of achievement. Sessions run in summer with multiple start dates; accommodation is in shared boarding houses on campus and staff are on-site 24/7.

The fee covers lessons, activities, excursions, meals and accommodation.
