Immerse Education's English Literature Online Research Programme is a year-round, pre-university online course designed for high school and secondary school participants aged 13-18. The programme combines personalised one-to-one tutorials or group lessons with a bespoke curriculum in classic and contemporary literature.
Students design and complete an independent applied research project, developing research, academic writing, referencing and argumentation skills, with top projects invited to the Immerse Online Symposium. Programmes vary by intensity and accreditation: the Classic ORP is a 10-hour option delivered over 2 weeks, the Publication Research Programme offers 15 hours plus 4 coaching sessions and publication support, and accredited UK/USA options provide 15 hours and recognised accreditation.
Completion awards include a certificate of achievement, possible Letter of Recommendation from tutors, and for some accredited options, UCAS-recognised credits. The programme is delivered remotely and is available to participants worldwide.
Certificate of achievement; accredited courses may issue a qualification recognised by universities (some options state a qualification worth 8 UCAS points).
