Immerse Education’s Environment & Sustainability Summer Programme in Tokyo is a two-week residential (or non-residential) summer school designed for students aged 15-18. The programme explores sustainable city planning, environmental policy, and global sustainability challenges, using Tokyos urban projects and industry visits as practical learning settings.
Teaching includes project-based learning sessions, expert workshops, 1:1 coaching, career skills sessions, and a personal project presented to industry experts.
Students stay in high-quality student accommodation near the University of Tokyo for residential options and benefit from small class sizes (7-10 students). The programme includes 45 hours of teaching and coaching, industry visits, guest speaker sessions, personalised tutor feedback, daily meals for residential options, and a certificate of attendance.
An optional UCAS points add-on (8 points) is available for eligible students.
Sessions are offered across multiple dates (including July 2025 and July 2026 sessions listed on the page). Applicants can enrol online via the Immerse website, book a consultation, or join the waiting list to be notified when applications open.
