Essex Army Cadets (32 detachments across Essex)

Essex Army Cadet Force runs 35 detachments across Essex, and 32 of them are open to new cadets. Cadets aged 12 to 18 meet on a weekly parade night for training such as navigation, first aid and fieldcraft, building confidence, teamwork and leadership.

Use the county page to find your nearest detachment, its parade night and whether it is taking new cadets, then choose "Join as a Cadet". Some detachments ask you not to visit until the Detachment Commander has emailed you.
